What a find

When I was in Basel days ago, I originally planned to go to my art shop buying some Ecoline Inks I was out of. I somehow missed to go to the shop as I had heavy back-pain and it would have been an extra hike.
But since I was in the area I visited the second-hand shop. There's always something to discover there. Big was my surprise when I saw a few pots of Ecoline there - and almost exactly the

random thoughts

The mood you are in when between two projects can be weird.
Yesterday, I tried to commit suicide by eating a salad I bought in a German supermarket. It didn't work.
Today, I worked hard to achieve all the task on my To-Do List for the Promotion of the DVD. Several people do help me and I think the least I can do to show my gratitude is to do any effort possible on my side, too.

Commercial calls

This early morning I attended the dentist. While he was drilling my tooth, his cell phone got a call. The assistant answered and apparently, tried in vein to find out what the caller wanted. She then handed the phone over to the doctor. Maybe a patient in distress who couldn't barely speak?
It quickly turned out that it was a commercial call.
"No, I am not interested" I heard the doc repeating "I

My back is like Jacks back

My spine is as rotten as was once JFK's - we have this in common and this may be a reason for our bond ;-)

But well, my back was so nice to wait with a new breakdown-crisis until the DVD is finished. But then, yesterday, it was the big blocking. I had cold in my bed because I could not move to reach out for the second blanket. All my back was frozen in pain. No way to get up for a piss or so.

Little good things

Since I have to rebuild the entire film, I also decided to rework on some animations. The Clip introducing JFK riding trough the woods was simply too crappy. I redrew the entire animation and I must say that I am pretty pleased with the result. It was worth these few days of extra-work. Don't worry, I'm not gonna redraw the entire film, despite the fact that I probably should.

Restart

The Problems I am encountering at the building of the German and English Versions seem to be unsolvable. I don't know how many test-DVDs have been thrown into the Trash-Bin by now.
I believe that it is my old, buggy Program; Adobe Premiere Pro. I have bought a new Program, Vegas Platinum 10, from my inheritance, but since the whole Project was built up in Premiere, I wanted to finish it there,

BURN-OUT!

I really thought that once the film is finished, the hardest part will be done.
Well, it's not. The hardest part is building up that damned DVD. How many time have I reviewed the Film on my TV? And EVERY time I discover a new error, a new flaw. Some kind of little shit I didn't see or hear before.
Corrected the too loud sound in sequence 2 of the French version. Fine, it works, but now, the

Magnolia Goodbye

When I I took this Photo of our magnolia Tree two days ago, I reflected about the possibility that it may be the last time I see it in full blossom. Rain was announced that torn off the flowers. And the next time it will bloom - April 2012 - we may not live here anymore.I planted this tree 12 years ago, when it was just a twig with exactly three flowers. It has grown up almost 3 Meters in height

Random Entry

Finally - I managed to build up the menus on the DVD. Was not as tricky and difficult as I was afraid it would be. Now I am re-working on the entire audio, adjusting voices, music and sounds.
As for the DVD Cover I definitely chose Nr. 1

But since there's such a beautiful spring weather, hence Ialso spend lots of time in the garden, planning, digging and planting.

My Iphone

It may be inappropriate to talk about such things in these times - but heck, there's nothing I can do against Fukushima, so I'm enjoying my little, daily pleasures.
My Mom has a cell-phone subscription since more than a decade, with two devices included, one for her and one for me. Since these phones had become very old now, it was time to choose a set of new ones. Since a long time, she dreamt
