A New Workspace

With my office now moved out of the house I find myself lost with what to do with house related bills, invitations, etc. Exactly where is the tape? Do we have any stamps here? We have a tiny nook in the kitchen and this picture from Better Homes and Gardens got my wheels turning.

Happy Friday everyone! I thought I'd show you a fabulous room that captivated me this week. It's a home office that was designed by Amy Morris for the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles showhouse. What I love is the depth created by layering black and navy blue, and the touchs of gold that perfectly lighten up this otherwise dark palette {images via Atlanta Homes}.

Oh, and a glam little dome chair never hurt any one ...

I hardly know anyone who doesn't think anything Nate Berkus touches turns to gold. Same goes for the designers at his firm--I love just about anything they produce.

These photos of the Nate Berkus Associates offices in Chicago are awesome. It's no wonder they create such cool spaces, considering they work in such a cool office. I loved reclaimed industrial loft spaces.

The wall of shameless self-promotion is a little much for me, but it gets a pass because it's Nate and I love gallery walls. This one is finds the ideal spot between perfect spacing and spontaneity. Most of the things in this photo are from Nate's HSN line. I hope they bring back that gorgeous mirror!
