Country Calm ...

I ♥love♥ turtles

and was thrilled to find this little sweetie on a recent "day in the country" :-)
Just taking it nice and slow and enjoying the day!

As were the horses grazing in wide open fields ...

***

Slow down

and enjoy life

It's not only the

Scenery

you miss

by going too fast -

you also miss the

Sense

of

Where

you are going

and

Why

Texture Tuesdays #5 ...

Today's Texture Tuesday comes with the challenge of using Kim's Serendipity texture.

Serendipity ~ one of my favourite words :-)

Serendipity

is the art

of making

an unsought

finding

~Pek Van Andel~

I thought this photo, taken yesterday was appropriate to go with the word Serendipity.

We were out for a relaxing Easter Monday afternoon drive. It was pouring with rain, and the last thing we expected to see were horses grazing in the fields, so they were a wonderful "unexpected find".

Of course, I had my camera with me :-)
