felted flowers

We have a rotating postal strike currently underway here in Canada.
When we go check the mail. .
we half expect the box to be vacant.

On Tuesday when the grands were here for a grammie day . .
my mailman beloved ..did the mail check and stuck a large puffy brown envelope in the kitchen door.

I knew what was inside before I slit the top open.

Part of the order was these darling little felted flowers that I ordered from
Heather's Felted Flower Shop.

Since Kanneloni Macaroni was available to model ..
I tried not just one.  ..but three in her blond curls..and found they stayed in her hair as long as I left them.

Never having raised a little girl of my own . .

I find it quite delightful to catch up on what I missed.
