5 for Friday

Here are 5 tips, 5 heads ups, 5 things I wanted to share with you this Friday. I am hoping to make this a regular feature of The Intentional Home blog.

1. Kroger has Tyson boneless, skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.79 this week. Sale ends midnite, Saturday, June 18th. This is below my target price of $.199.

T
arget Price Shopping is knowing the lowest price for items you buy and when an item is at your "target price", you stock up. For lists that tell you what a stock up price is for ____, click here. Many couponers print these lists out and stick them in their binders.

2. Word around blogland is Harris Teeter will be having Super Doubles Wed, June 22- Tues, June 28th. I will post deal lists on Monday, but if you should find them in blogland before me, would you shoot me an email or leave a comment. My time has been short on the computer lately :).

3. I have a Couponing 101 class in Knightdale. .about 20 minutes from mid Raleigh. . .on Wed, July 22 from 7-9pm. Click here for all the details. And shoot me an email at susoutter {at} bellsouth {dot} net if you want to get on the class list.

. My friend Cathy who I wrote about here has started her own blog, To My Daughters' Hearts. Check out what choice out of all the ones to be made in a day, she prioritizes. She says "Looking back over 30 years of being a mom, I wish I had known at the beginning what I am going to tell you now." Go to her blog here to see what choice she puts at the top of the list. And if you have a moment, leave her a comment. . .especially if you would like to read more of her blog writing. I know she would love some feedback.

5. Looking for some summer fun for the kids in Raleigh?

Sign your kids up for two free games of bowling everyday this summer! The bowling alley at Pleasant Valley (across hwy 70 from Monkey Joes) will send you coupons at the beginning of each week of the summer. You print them when you are ready to go and viola! You do have to pay for shoes, but it's pretty cheap. Plus you get to bowl until 8pm every night. Here is the link: http://freebowling.amf.com/

Also Regal Cinemas (at North Hills and Brier Creek) are hosting summer movies on Tuesdays and Wednesday for $1 at 10am. Here is the link to the movies they are showing: http://www.regmovies.com/summermovieexpress/default.aspx?zip=27615
