Pabellón Ginkaku-ji (pabellón de plata) [Kyoto parte XVII de XXIV]

Toca el turno del templo/pabellón Ginkakuji (銀閣寺)

En 1482 el shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa construyó aqui una villa como un apacible refugio del caos de la guerra civil.
El nombre de la villa se traduce como "pabellón de plata",pero la pretensión del shogun de cubrir el edificio de plata nunca se hizo realidad (como una comparación al Kinkaku-ji).
Tras la muerte de Yoshimasa,la villa se convirtió en un templo.
En la puerta principal esta flanqueado por grandes setos,justo antes de adentrarse en bruscamente en los exetnsos jardines,que se recorren a través de unas pasarelas.
Los jardines incluyen conos de arena blanca de forma un tanto meticulosa e inclinados (lo cual puede simbolizar una montaña o un lago)

También hay un precioso estanque enfrente del templo y altos pinos,junto a otras preciosidades típicas de los templos.
También hay una senda que conduce a una ladera de la montaña a traves de árboles y esplendida vegetación.
