Converting a 1920's Garage into a Guest Room and Full Bathroom

When the homeowners of this lovely 1920's bungalow had a new family member arrive, they contracted us to build out a guest room with a full bathroom in their garage.  The garage was originally long and narrow, enough to fit two cars parked in tandem.  So, there was ample space to take one-half of the garage for the conversion, while the other half remained a single car garage.


The results are just fantastic!  As you walk into the room and bathroom, you'd never guess it was converted from an old dusty garage.  The room has soft-colored walls with concrete-like tile floors and the bathroom has classic period-appropriate touches with modern driftwood-like tile floors.
