There are more sweat glands in our feet that other parts of our body. This perspiration causes bad and unpleasant smell when it reacts with the bacteria present on the skin surface.
Although sweat does not necessarily have a bad odor of its own.
we can prevent foot odor by taking care of simple things like our wearing cotton socks, keeping socks clean, avoiding closed shoes, maintaining foot hygiene etc.
Home Remedies for Foot Odor
Powder Your Toes.
Powder your toes with cornstarch or an antifungal spray.
You can also sprinkle talcum powder on your foot.
Keep your feet clean.
If your sweat glands are too good in their work then you need to give them frequent bath.
to be simple you should wash your feet very often if you perspire a lot.
Control Perspiration
You can control perspiration by using antiperspirant they eliminate the foot odor and also to control perspiration. You can also use deodorants to eliminate the odor but they do not help in controlling perspiration.
Change Socks.
Always wear clean socks, dont wear unwashed or dirty socks. If you get time try to chage the socks atleast twice a day.
Baking Soda.
Sprinkle baking soda on your feet after washing them.
you can also sprinkle baking soda inside your shoes as they can absorb the moisture.
Be smart enough to choose your shoes.
If you perspire more then you should choose open shoes. wear sandals for casual. Avoid wearing rubber and plastic shoes. Keep your shoes in open air after taking them out.
Soak your feet.
You can preapare soaks of tea, vinegar, apple cider vinegar etc. and dip your feet in them.
they help in eliminating foot odor by keeping them clean.
